Hardly any of them are nutritious. When we are out and need to stop to eat, that's the only place he will eat. It doesn't happen very often, but I wish it did not happen at all. My husband is not exactly on the same page as me when it comes to nutrition and food. These things make it more difficult. But I am working on it!Jadehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11204654372650036676noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2753978376864200931.post-70218536520950610022010-08-26T17:31:39.675-05:002010-08-26T17:31:39.675-05:00Wow I can't imagine what it would be like to l...Wow I can't imagine what it would be like to live in a town where I would be the only vegan. Props to you for standing up above the rest and hopefully with time, your diet will effect more people in your community.
I think it might be too shocking to tell your daughter how badly animals are treated. Maybe when she gets a little older? I seen a lot of good 'why people are vegetarian' children books..maybe you could read her some of those?
As for McDonalds, yeah I agree..that's not even food. I wouldn't get it for them anymore..there's no nutrition in there. Its just a waste of money and really a waste of a meal, since nothing really is gained.Jacklynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10132326468225913651noreply@blogger.com
